Thrust Bearing Maintenance of AVK
Thrust bearings must be lubricated using Lubriplate *#930-AA or equivalent. The thrust bearing and mandrel (hex socket head cap screws) are located in the tip of the tool. The bearings should not be dry if they are lubricated as needed. Remove the tip and follow the steps below：
Remove bearing and hexagon socket screws |
The bearing is separated from the seat ring and lubricated. Add grease to the bearing. If the screw is worn out, replace the high quality grade 8 screw. |
Reassemble |
